Quick mask
Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons of vinegar
- 5 teaspoons of baking soda
Preparation and application
Mix the ingredients well and spread the mixture all over the hair, leaving it for 20 minutes before washing the hair with cold water.
Beer mask
Ingredients
- ½ cup of beer (after leaving it out for 2 hours so that it goes flat)
- 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil
Preparation and application
Mix all the ingredients together and apply the mixture to clean hair, leaving it for 15 minutes before finally washing it as normal in warm water.
Mask for oily hair
Excess oil can restore your hair’s natural beauty. Washing it less often with a gentle shampoo and applying this mask will help nourish your hair.
White clay mask
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons of white clay
- ½ cup of hot water
Preparation and application
Mix the clay with the water until it forms a smooth paste. Let the mixture cool slightly, then apply it to the roots for 20 minutes, massaging it into the scalp before rinsing out with cold water.
Mint and rosemary mask
Ingredients
- 4 cups of water
- 1 handful of fresh mint
- 1 handful of fresh rosemary
- 2 limes
Preparation and application
Boil the water and stir in the mint and rosemary, leaving the mixture to boil for 20 minutes. Finally, add the juice of two limes, strain, and apply the liquid to clean hair, massaging it into the scalp using circular motions.
Mask for dry hair
This type of hair has very little oil, causing it to break easily and be prone to frizz. Moisture is key for this hair type, so we have proposed the following hydrating mask:
Oat mask
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons of oats
- 3 cups of water
- 3 drops of lavender essential oil
Preparation and application
First, soak the oats for a couple of minutes. Boil the oats and let them cook for 10 minutes until they reach a creamy texture. Strain the oats and leave the remaining liquid to cool. Add the lavender and apply through the lengths and ends of the hair.
Aloe conditioning mask
Ingredients
- 1 cup of pure aloe vera gel
- 3 tablespoons of conditioner
Preparation and application
Mix together the aloe and conditioner and apply all over the hair. Leave the mask on the hair for 30 minutes, before rinsing out with plenty of water and washing as normal.

Mustard mask
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- ½ cup of beer
- 2 tablespoons of yellow mustard
Preparation and application
Mix ingredients well and apply from the roots to the ends of the hair. Cover the head with a shower cap or plastic wrap and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse out and wash hair as normal.
Apple cider vinegar mask
Ingredients
- ½ cup of apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup of water
Preparation and application
Mix ingredients well and apply from the roots to the ends of the hair using a spray bottle. Leave the mask on for 15 minutes, then rinse well and wash hair as normal.
Masks for damaged hair

Tomato mask
Ingredients
- 1 ripe tomato, chopped without the skin
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of yellow mustard
Preparation and application
Combine all the ingredients and apply from the roots to the ends of the hair. Leave the mask for 30 minutes before rinsing out with warm water and washing the hair as normal.
Castor oil mask
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of castor oil
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 vitamin E capsule
Preparation and application
Mix well all the ingredients and apply all over the hair. Leave the mixture on the hair for 20 minutes, before rinsing out with warm water. Repeat this mask once a week for optimum results.
